Can someone pls recommend a nice place to have a good value meal at Bondi Beach? Food wise, maybe Modern Australian or Asian cuisine.

There are many great places to eat at Bondi, if you are looking at something that has just opened, the Rum Diaries is great. Its located on Bondi Road opposite Royal Hotel, near the little strip of shops there. They specialize in serving Rum, from all over the world that compliments the wide and varied tapas menu. The food is delicious and mouth watering.

I really recommend you go there in the evening, the ambiance is warm, cozy and inviting. Ask the barman to serve the Rum they actually light up, and pour it flaming in your glass.

While I was there I was amazed at the so many varieties of Rum available. The Rum menu is attached to a thick piece of wood, and compliments the woody interior of the place. It almost has a viking/middle ages type atmosphere. I am sure you will enjoy it! I recommend you bring a special date along you would like to impress!
